Antique Staffordshire Brown Transferware Casserole w Serving Spoon spring inox rugs and maybe teepeesThis is a wonderful Staffordshire lidded casserole decorated with a brown transfer printed scene. The casserole has a large spoon that sits within the notch in the lid. All pieces are made of glazed earthenware. Only the lid is marked with an impressed sun type mark that, although I cant be 100% certain, appears to have been used by the Old Hall Earthenware company, active from 1861 until 1886,.
