Epimedium perralchicum Frohnleiten Brazil From June until frostEpimedium 'Frohnleiten' is a spectacular hybrid (Epimedium perralderianum x Epimedium pinnatum ssp. colchicum) from Germany's Heinz Klose. In April (NC), Epimedium 'Frohnleiten' boasts superbly red mottled, newly emerging, heart shaped, green leaves. The clumps are topped with panicles of large butter yellow flowers a great woodland specimen. Epimedium 'Frohnleiten' is a spreading fairy wing (6 8" per year), whose foliage remains evergreen from Zone 6
