Description

A fruity and very pinot nose that manages to be quite pretty despite the pronounced earthiness that continues onto the round and delicious flavors that are presently firm but I suspect that this will come around quickly

Some very clever tannin management here

this Champagne is composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay

The 2010 Cheval des Andes is produced with grapes grown at an old vineyard (planted in 1929) at Las Compuertas

This lightly austere and markedly powerful effort will need at least a few years of bottle age to soften what are presently very firm tannins

Terres Velle, Chassagne Montrachet Platiere Vintage:2024 A fruity and very pinotA broad ranging nose freely offers up its aromas of almond paste, petrol, rosemary oil, pear and an admirably deft application of wood. The rich, delicious and solidly voluminous flavors also conclude in a firm, moderately tannic and mildly rustic finale. This is also robust and bold and a wine thats going to need at least 2 to 3 years of keeping to round off the finish.
