Helleborus sternii Primula This Southeast native forms 2'Helleborus x sternii is a hard to find evergreen hybrid of Helleborus argutifolius x Helleborus lividus that resembles Helleborus argutifolius in it's stemmed form, and with toothed edges to the silver mottled, trifoliate leaves. From the Helleborus lividus genes, the hybrid has a shorter stature, usually 1 1. 5' in height. In late winter, the clumps are topped with 6" terminal flower stalks of light green bell like flowers flushed with pink.
