This is really quite good for its level and worth considering for an all-around house red as it should drink well early and with a few years of bottle age

felt a little mainstream and shy -- not really showing much varietal character when poured

juicy and succulent with a nicely detailed

Penfolds, Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon Vintage:2023 This is really quite goodYouthful purple color. Displays pungent aromas of dried cherry, blackcurrant, licorice and mocha, with a smoky nuance gaining strength with aeration. Taut and refreshingly bitter on entry, offering spice accented dark fruit flavors and a touch of dark chocolate. The cherry and licorice qualities carry through the finish, which is firmed by youthfully chewy tannins and tangy acidity. Josh Raynolds
