Hosta Swamp Thing Cardiocrinum dark green stalkThis 2006 Plant Delights JLBG introduction is a 1993 Hosta yingeri hybrid that forms a stunning 18" tall x 4' wide vigorous clump of very shiny green leaves, surrounded by a wide, golden yellow border. In mid June, the clumps are topped with scapes of attractive purple, spider like flowers enjoyed by hummingbirds. Hosta 'Swamp Thing' has really stood the test of time like fine wine, improving with age.
