I much prefer the 2010 La Gaffelière that I tasted the week previously

On the palate

this is already in its prime time drinking window

but all the elements are nicely balanced

I am not sure how Angelo Gaja and his team do it

Lambrays, Clos Lambrays other_regions I much prefer the 2010(produced from two large parcels of differing vine age one that is approximately two thirds of the blend and is now 45 years of age and a second, smaller group of vines that is approximately 20+ years of age). A much more deeply pitched nose of dark berry fruit, spice, earth, a hint of animale and an overlay of obvious minerality complements perfectly the rich, full and sweet broad scaled yet elegant flavors that are solidly structured and firm on the
