Around them a ring of red fire opens out into feathered filigree that fills the corners of the black cloth. A triquetra sits centred at the top and again at the bottom, with thin red rules edging the panel. The star carries fine engraved detail, printed flat onto the fabric rather than moulded or raised in any way.
