Jean-Philippe Fichet, Bourgogne Blanc Vv Vintage:2015 this is no shrinking violet(also 100% from Meursault vines but from soil with much more gravel and rock content). This is also sufficiently reduced to make the nose difficult to assess. By contrast there is good freshness to the slightly bigger and richer middle weight flavors that possess a really lovely mouth feel, all wrapped in a sappy and wonderfully long finish. This is very clearly at another level, indeed, this is fantastic for what it is and highly recommended. (87 89)
