Antique Molded Relief Pottery Jug Pitcher The Death of Abel Edward Walley c 1850 Biblical Scenes 1990s Ungaro tear or staining - thisThis is an antique molded relief pottery jug or pitcher made by Edward Walley and known as The Death of Abel. The jug portrays Abels brother Cain pummelling him to death on one side while the other side portrays his parents Adam and Eve grieving over his dead body. Edward Walley produced molded jugs as well as ironstone china at Cobridge, Staffordshire under the name Edward Walley from 1845 until 1856. It is stamp marked on the underside with a coat
