Miani, Chardonnay Size:6x750ml with lots of red currantThe 2013 Chardonnay is one of the most immediate wines in this range. Apricot pit, tangerine, spices and hazelnut overtones are some of the signatures that take shape in the glass. There is a slightly oxidative, nutty (but not unpleasant) quality in the 2013 that is reminiscent of Burgundies from Chassagne and American Chardonnays made from the Wente clone.
