Lagrange Pomerol Vintage:2018 Unmistakable in its obesityMade from 100% Merlot, the 2018 Lagrange (Pomerol) has a medium to deep garnet purple color and alluring scents of plum preserves, Morello cherries and blackberry compote, plus suggestions of camphor, tobacco leaf and forest floor. The medium to full bodied palate delivers plenty of freshness to lift the earthy, muscular core, with a rugged, chewy texture to boot, finishing savory. It's of a rather rustic, old school style that should improve slightly
