the flavors are bright and floral

the Parafada was done partly in French oak

This refreshing effort is really quite good for a villages level Chassagne and worth checking out

Mugneret Gibourg, Vosne-Romanee La Colombiere Size:3x750ml release after release(from a . 86 ha parcel of ~80 year old vines). Here the wonderfully fresh and pure nose of plum and black raspberry displays plenty of spice nuances, in particular star anise and sandalwood, along with a hint of crushed fennel. The medium bodied flavors are not quite as concentrated as those of the straight Vosne villages, though they are notably finer on the lingering, balanced and energetic finale.
