The Brut Vintage 2015 displays a lovely golden hue with silver highlights

in particular Chassagne Chardonnay

with their clay and limestone rocky soils

The grapes are macerated on the skins for a short time before fermentation in stainless steel

and the other half was planted in the 1950s

Domaine Armand Rousseau 'Clos du Chateau' Gevrey-Chambertin Monopole 2018 VODKA The Brut Vintage 2015 displaysThe vineyards of the Chteau de Gevrey Chambertin became part of the domain in 2012. Since then, we have pulled up the vines in some places and replanted them in others to rebalance the age of the vines. We worked extensively on the soil, introducing a mechanical process for aeration and to encourage microorganisms. At the same time, we decided to try a biodynamic process. We have been developing our understanding year on year to get the best results.
