Description

This may be too ripe for some which would be the case for me

it exhibits aromas of cigar box (vanilla

fullbodied and minerally flavors that possess ample amounts of mouth coating dry extract that also largely buffer the chewy

indeed almost delicate lemon rind-inflected finish

There is excellent richness to the medium-bodied flavors thanks to the abundant levels of dry extract that help to impart a velvety texture to the sappy and lingering finish

Michel Bouzereau, Puligny Montrachet Champ Gain Vintage:2021 This may be too ripe(from a . 40 ha parcel that abuts Truffire). Like the Tessons, this is aromatically quite cool with restrained aromas of mostly floral and citrus along with background hints of green apple. The sleek, intense and more obviously mineral driven medium weight flavors possess fine balance on the very dry finale. This will need to develop better depth to merit the upper end of my projected range.
