Gupta subjected the double tuberose to a series of gamma radiation treatments intended to induce mutations. The result was this amazing variegated leaf tuberose selection with wide, creamy gold bordered leaves. Polianthes 'Swarna Rekah' matures into 1' tall x 3' wide clumps of very attractive foliage, topped in late October with 4' tall stalks
