Art Deco 1930s Beswick Ware Vase No 504 Drip Glaze WWII V Wings cracks or wear - thereThis is a Beswick Ware vase made in an art deco form, most likely designed during the 1930s by Mr. Symcox. Symcox worked for Beswick between 1933 and 1942 and was a freelance sculptor who exhibited at the 1934 British Industry Fair. The vase is glazed in a beige colour in the upper area with drips of blue, yellow, green and red blended together around the bulbous base of the vase. The top of the vase is pinched so as to form a slight hourglass shape.
