One triquetra sits in the middle, its three loops threaded through a circle, drawn in pale ivory with a dark outline. Behind it the ground is mottled sage and smoke grey, cracked like very old window glass. Around the rim runs a full ring of moon phases, solid dark discs on one side, pale ones opposite, thin crescents at the turn, with small pointed petals set between them. There is nothing else on it. No animal, no gold. It
