They are individually tested for dielectric strength at 100kV per foot for 5 minutes per ASTEM F711 as referenced in OSHA paragraph 1910. 269(j)(1)(i). Splice into pruner rope according to your company procedures. Reference ANSI Z133 for guidelines on using equipment near energized conductors.
