Art Deco Christofle France Silver Plated Swan Gravy Boat with Spoon by Christian Fjerdingstad 1940s dress a loop button neck closureThis gravy boat with accompanying swan form spoon was originally designed in 1925 for Christofle by Danish designer Christian Fjerdingstad. The original design was made of resin and silver while this silver plated version was introduced in 1935. This particular example most likely dates to the 1930s 1940s period. The OC Knight Chess piece mark was used from 1935 until 1983. It appears on both pieces along with Gallia, which was a proprietary white
