The palate is medium-bodied with firm but fine-boned tannins

Acidity still quite prominent

Laurent Ponsot, Gevrey Chambertin Aulne Vintage:2018 cool earth and a hint(alder). There is a very mild whiff of volatile acidity present on the wild cherry, raspberry and forest floor scented nose. Once again there is very good vibrancy to the suave yet nicely detailed medium bodied flavors that terminate in a mildly rustic and persistent finish. This isnt particularly dense but is attractive in its fashion.
