Unit supports broadcast quality audio signal and requires only one single strand of fiber, which can be either single mode or multimode type. The Transmitter unit has audio XLR female connectors, while the receiver has XLR male type connectors. The fiber optic system uses a 16bit digitally encoded mechanism that ensures highest broadcast quality for the audio signal.
