They originally formed in 1996 as Godzilla but had to change their name in 2001

The trio started off with songs on Sub Pop comps and were ultimately signed to SST, the punk label ran by Black Flag guitarist Greg Ginn. During their time together, they released four LPs in as many years and then called it quits.
