Two thereof are located in the Paardeberg region, situated in granitic soil, and was planted in 1971 and 1980, respectively. The third vineyard is situated north of the town of Malmesbury in red iron rich soils and was planted in 1981. All of the vineyards consist exclusively of dryland bush vines. The granite components are linear and mineral within the white fruit
