Centered on the viola d'amore, Riparian unfolds two longform improvisations rooted in his self devised concept of ecomusicality. Produced by Randall Dunn, the record offers a meditative, textural sound world shaped by Kang's deep lineage in microtonality, raga, and spiritual jazz.
