Not because of the fact that Jacqueline loves Greyhounds, at this moment she lives with an adopted, twelve year old Greyhound Amy but when Jacqueline was working on the design for this quilt she noticed that black as a background fabric didnt really match the design and more white would be too much. So why not grey? That turned out to be a bull's eye.
