Use breather fabric over the top of the piece being laminated to ensure complete air flow over the entire part. Typically, when drawing a vacuum, the tendency of the bag is to seal around the edge of the part first which reduces or stops the air flow over the entire surface of the part. The result is that you can have less pressure in the center of the part than around the edges;
