Berberine is the active constituent of goldenseal. Artemisinin, or qinghaosu, is the active constituent of sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua). The grapefruit seed extract we use has been shown via third party testing to be free of the potentially dangerous contaminants triclosan, benzethonium chloride, and benzalkonium chloride.
