Here there is a menthol note sitting atop the slightly riper yet cool aromas of cassis

It fermented in stainless steel with neutral yeasts and aged for around 12 months in French barriques

Simon Bize, Savigny Beaune Rouge Size:6x750ml from my original caseA touch of menthol sits atop the notably ripe aromas of poached plum, warm earth and violet. The medium weight flavors are not quite as dense though they are finer with a velvety texture that smooths off the less rustic yet serious finish. This too is going to require at least some patience.
