The first hole, indicated by the 1 in the photo to the right, strips the 1. 6 mm 3 mm fiber jacket down to the 600 m 900 m buffer coating. The second hole strips the 600 m 900 m buffer down to the 250 m coating. The third hole is used to strip the 250 m cable down
